# After a seemingly endless wait, I received M.Ed Admission Counselling letter (for M.Ed programme 2015) from IGNOU Regional Centre CHENNAI through Speedpost today (29.12.14-Mon).
# My counselling is on 09.01.2015 (Friday) at 10 am at Nandanam Regional Centre. google map
# This is for General Merit. For other categories such as PH, SC, ST, OBC (NCL) it is at 2 pm on the same day.
# IGNOU Chennai M.Ed 2015 Counselling Schedule:
09.01.15 (Fri) 10 am for Gen Merit / GM tie
09.01.15 (Fri) 2 pm for other categories / tie

# DOCUMENTS REQUIRED DURING COUNSELLING:
* A - Counselling Offer Letter
* B - Acceptance Form
* C - Format of Teaching Experience Certificate
* D - Specimen Copy of Category/Community Certificate - This is not sent to me, being in Gen
Category
* E - ANTI-RAGGING Affidavit by the Student signed by Oath Commissioner (Notary) on non-judicial stamp paper (Don't know why! Check this. ONLINE FACILITY FOR ANTI-RAGGING AFFIDAVITS
* Attested copies of Marksheets: 10th & 12th, UG Consolidated, B.Ed, PG (if any)
* Attested copies of UG, PG, B.Ed Degree certificates
* Originals of all above Degree Certificates, Marksheets should be produced on demand for
verification
* Hall-ticket in original or print out of d/l duly attested
* DD (preferably from Indian Bank) for INR 40,000/- drawn in f/o IGNOU payable at Chennai.
(Candidate's Name, Programme Code, M.Ed 2015 Enrollment No. and Address backside of
DD)
* One recent PP photo for the purpose of pasting it on the Student ID card to be provided on
confirmation of admission.
If they could post the Merit List and Counselling Schedule in their website, it will be better for those who might experience postal delay. They have posted the merit list here on 02.01.15 M.Ed MERIT LIST
