IGNOU CHENNAI M.Ed 2015 COUNSELLING @ IGNOU RC CHENNAI, NANDANAM

At last today (09.01.2015 - Fri.), I was formally admitted into the M.Ed Programme 2015 of IGNOU CHENNAI. 

The counselling started at the appointed time i.e 10 am. We were given the STUDENT ID CARD and asked to fill it up and paste the photograph. An intro was given. Mr. PRABHUDAS TALLURI, who topped the IGNOU M.Ed Entrance 2014  in the South Region, was appreciated. 

Then at the first table, they verified the documents; at the next, Study Centre No. was entered; mine is CHENNAI i.e., NKT College, Triplicane. They'd also asked for the ANTI-RAGGING AFFIDAVIT to be signed by an oath commissioner in stamp paper; I'd submitted it; but others who'd not, were asked to give it in writing that they'd do so in a month's time. At the third and final table, the DD was checked and the STUDENT ID CARD alongwith a congratulatory message (including briefs on exam fees, study material, counselling sessions/workshop, assignments, TEE), personally signed by the REGIONAL DIRECTOR, was handed out stating that the M.Ed admission is formally complete.

The whole experience was a breeze, it went as quickly as one would've wanted; things were well planned. KUDOS IGNOU CHENNAI.

The only hitch was that nearly 50% of the candidates called didn't turn up for the Counselling - reason being, they'd already joined either in Bharathidasan Univ. or in Bharathiar Univ. IGNOU is just too late.
