[SOLVED] OFFLINE TAMIL TYPING -- HOW TO TYPE IN TAMIL IN LAPTOP PHONETIC KEYBOARD

Windows 10ல் Taskbar languageல் Tamil (Phonetic) -- அதாவது தமிழில் type செய்ய பின்வரும் முறையைப் பின்பற்றுங்கள்:

* உங்கள் மடிக்கணினியின்  Taskbarல் Time & Date-க்கு இடது புறம் ENG என்று இருக்கும். அதை Left click செய்யவும்; ஒரு Window Open ஆகும். 

*In your laptop or computer at Taskbar, to the left of Time & Date, there will be ENG. Left click that. The following window will open.

 

* அதில் Language Preferencesஐ click செய்யவும். 

Click Language Preferences in that

* Language windowவில் Preferred Languagesக்கு கீழ் + Add a languageஐ click செய்யவும்; 

* Choose a language to install என்ற window வரும்; அதிலுள்ள Searchல் Tamil என்று type செய்யவும். அதில் "தமிழ் (இந்தியா) -வை click செய்து Nextஐ click செய்யவும். பிறகு Installஐ click செய்யவும். 

* குறிப்பு:

1. பயன்படுத்த: Windows key + spacebar சேர்த்து அழுத்த, அடுத்தடுத்த language enable ஆகும்.

2. Do I have to install any third-party software to type in Tamil: If you use the above method, there is no need to install any third-party softwares such as NHM Writer or Azhagi or e-kalappai or even Google IME (input tools -- which is by the way, not anymore supported). The above-given method for typing in Tamil without NHM Writer or Azhagi or any other such softwares

3. Also many online transliteration sites are available such as <https://www.google.com/intl/ta/inputtools/try/> or <http://www.tamiltyping.in/> etc. But for OFFLINE, how to type in tamil;
